Woodstock Stroke Club

Woodstock Stroke Club is, as the name suggests, a coming together of stroke survivors who live in Woodstock and the surrounding villages. The purpose of gathering is to bring together troke survivors and their carers for many conversations with other and to learn about a variety of different subjects.

Usually there is a speaker who gives a talk on a subject of interest lasting about 60 minutes. This is followed by a light lunch, served by local volunteers who come to support the members.

The members, their carers, and supporters meet in the Woodstock Community hall in New Road, Woodstock, OX20 1PB, from 10:30am to 1pm.

On the Tuesday following the club meeting, a social gathering is arranged in one of the many garden centers in the area for yet another coffee and an informal chat, lasting around an hour or so.
